Where it all Started

The Beehive Classic started as "The Davis County Open" (DCO). Along the Wasatch Front, there were always events and courses to the north in Ogden, or to the south in Salt Lake City, but Davis County was smack dab in the middle without many disc golf courses or events. Towards the end of 2016 a 15 hole course was installed at Davis Technical College in Kaysville Utah. This was a fun course that the public latched on to. The following year it was decided that we should hold an event on the course and it was called The Davis County Open. It was a smashing success, selling out each and every year. Infinite Discs has supported the event each and every year. In 2019, Davis County's First 18 hole permanent disc golf course was installed at Schneiter's Bluff in West Point. That course was added to the DCO and with changes made to the Davis Tech Course that reduced the size, Schneiter's Bluff has become the Sole home to the event. Now with 2 amazing 18 hole layouts on the golf course, and a practice area second to none, Schneiter's Bluff has become a premier Disc Golf Destination for the State of Utah and a Proud Home for the Beehive Classic!
